This wedding was very special to me – Taylor and Grant booked me back in 2020 and I have photographed multiple couples in their friend group! So it was like a mini reunion to celebrate two people who absolutely adore each other.
Taylor and Grant have been together for a long time…8 years!!! The way Grant looks at Taylor is the stuff people dream of. They’ve supported each other through major life accomplishments as well as hardships and to see all of their community come around them as they finally tied the knot was so sweet to be a part of.
I have been close to crying at many weddings but this one I actually shed multiple tears. Taylor and her brother Cody are incredibly close, and it reminds me a lot of my relationship with Weston. To see his reaction to seeing her as a bride for the first time was just…tears!!!! His toast during the reception was also so well done and really spoke to his love for his sister and his new brother-in-law.
Beyond all of the tears, we did have a lot of fun too! So many guests were from my home town so I got to see a lot of familiar faces, including FIVE past Dakota Hersey couples!!! This group was one that believed in me when I was first getting started in weddings and I am so thankful for their support. Now there are babies running around and it’s so sweet to see their marriage journeys!
Taylor and Grant, congratulations!!! I can’t imagine a couple that deserves this more than y’all. I am so thankful you chose me to capture your story. I love you!
