Josh and Haley’s wedding day was a true fairytale – sweet, relaxed, and personal. There is so much that goes into planning and throwing a wedding, and while there can be some nerves and anxiousness when it comes to having your dream day play out I love when couples fully allow themselves to be present for it.

One of my favorite parts of Josh and Haley’s day was catching them in little moments, wrapped up in each other. I absolutely love portraits and making sure that everyone is photographed at their absolute best, but I am falling more and more in love with capturing the true in-between moments of the day – walking from location to location, running through bubbles, hugs before reception introductions, laughing from guests.

Josh and Haley chose to do a first look, which we did privately in the garden beside their home church. Josh was totally entranced with seeing his bride! They decided they wanted to do all of their posed photos prior to the ceremony (LOVE when we do this!!!).

This means that after their ceremony, they had a bubble exit for their guests to send them off to the reception downtown. I love when the moments over the day flow together seamlessly!

We all headed downtown to The Terrace Room in Downtown Goldsboro, enjoyed dinner, tried tons of flavors of Nothing Bundt Cakes, and spun around on the dance floor. I had never been to this space before and I loved the outdoor terrace space!! They ended the night running down the stairs with their gifts and some matching Mickey Mouse ears before hopping in the car to go to the happiest place on Earth!

Haley and Josh, thank you for asking me to be part of your day!! It was beautiful and sweet and I absolutely love your families. Here’s to happily ever after!
