Anyone that has met Jenny and Nick can tell that they love each other deeply, and their wedding was the perfect picture of that. I was so excited to be a part of their day, as they are so relaxed and easy to get along with. Their day was full of family and friends and was completely about celebrating the start of their new life together. They made sure to have a personal touch in every detail, including making all of the people involved in making their day perfect feel appreciated.

Jenny and Nick chose to have their wedding at Lane Tree Golf Club in Goldsboro, NC, the place where Nick spends a ton of time with his friends/groomsmen. The venue was decorated beautifully with hundreds of red roses arranged by Nick’s mom, Regina Barrow (an amazing florist in Goldsboro!!). Jenny and Nick LOVE N.C. State and the color red so it was so fun to see it incorporated in so many ways…especially with the huge surprise that was to come during the reception.

I have to say my favorite part of their day was definitely their reception! Jenny and Nick surprised their bridal party with individually written intros with hand picked songs for each of their entrances. We loved watching their faces as they heard what the newly weds wrote about them and their friendships. After the fun intros came the dances, where I couldn’t help but tear up when Jenny and her dad had their first dance.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was that Mr. and Mrs. Wuf (the mascots of NCSU) joined for the reception! They stayed for the whole night, dancing and taking photos with all of the guests in the photobooth. By far one of the coolest wedding gifts I have ever seen!!!

Jenny and Nick, I am so grateful to have been a part of this day and to capture these memories for you. You have been an absolute joy to work with, and I can’t wait to see all that this new journey brings you! You two are perfect for each other and I hope that this day was everything you wanted and more. Congratulations again!!!
