Oh, this wedding y’all.
Working with Hannah and Ben has been such a joy. They are so in love with each other and are constantly thinking about others. Hannah actually sent me the cutest key chain as a thank you for their engagement photos that says “capture life’s moments” and I still have it on my keys!
They chose to have their wedding in Ben’s home church, a small white chapel in Goldsboro, NC. I have always passed these little country churches and thought “that would be the sweetest place for a wedding.”
Thankfully it was just big enough to hold all of their closest people and my dream of a small, chapel wedding came true!
My favorite part of the day was all of the special men in Hannah’s life seeing her for the first time.
She walked up behind her dad, asked him to turn around, and it was the sweetest, silent moment of him completely taking in his little girl in all her beauty. I’m a crier so I can respect Hannah needing her make up touched after this moment…I might have needed it myself too.
Hannah also chose to do a first look with her brother, who was equally in awe of his sister. I loved that you could tell they started their moment off a little silly and then were overwhelmed with the moment.
Her final first look was with her little nephew (who stole the show the whole morning!). The look on his face seeing his aunt was precious! I loved that she took the time to make him feel included and special on her big day.
The last person to see Hannah was probably my favorite first look of all…Ben.
The look on his face as he waited for the doors to open to his bride was full in anticipation, excitement, and overwhelming love.
The doors open and Hannah began her walk down the aisle and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I love that both of them let themselves feel this once-in-a-lifetime moment completely and from watching it happen, I could tell they felt like no one else was in the room.
I am so thankful to have been brought into Hannah and Ben’s lives and I can’t wait to continue to watch their love flourish.
Also, a huge thank you to all of the amazing people who made this day beautiful!!
