If you know me, I absolutely love letters. I have a drawer in my room full of almost every thoughtful, handwritten note I’ve been given. My dream would be to have the day Laken and Christian did on their wedding day – every important person greeted them with a personal letter or note to share their heart with them on this special day. Of course we had to be careful about reading them all there in the moment because we wouldn’t want to ruin any makeup!!!

Laken and Christian have been together since high school, and Christian proposed to Laken on New Year’s Eve at their house with only their parents before heading to a party with friends to surprise them with the celebration! They are both so fun to be around and love the simple things in life, like riding with the windows down and listening to loud music…and they love to eat!!!

Their wedding day was absolutely stunning, though Neuse Breeze Wedding Venue never disappoints! I loved spending the day surrounded by Laken and Christian’s closest friends and family, making jokes over drinks, and obsessing over how gorgeous Laken was as a bride.

One of my favorite moments of the wedding day is the moment right after the ceremony ends and the couple makes their way down the aisle hand in hand… Laken and Christian were SO cute as they threw their hands in the air in celebration, laughing at each other, with the “OMG we totally just did this!!!!” look on their faces. That’s what wedding days are all about – being head over heels excited about committing to your best friend forever.
