I first met Amber through her maid of honor, Ellie, reaching out about my availability within the next few weeks. They put together a “minimony” for Amber and Nick in a record amount of time!!! The fact that I was originally booked, but was still able to make this happen means it was meant to be!

Talking with Amber the first time felt so easy and natural. She is fun, optimistic, sarcastic, and easy-going. I knew it was going to be such a good day! Even though we didn’t have time to do engagement photos (we were on a tight schedule and Nick is VERY busy with work!), it’s super important for me to really get to know my couples prior to the wedding day. I met up with Amber and Nick at a local Italian restaurant and long story short…we all hit it off like we’d been friends for years and Nick took home my meatballs, LOL.

I’ve been really loving the low stress of smaller, simple ceremonies. Amber and Nick are still planning on having a big blowout party in the future, but this day was all about celebrating with their closet family and friends. The team at The Atrium alongside Salt Harbor Designs designed the most beautiful space!

My favorite moment was right after Amber and Nick had read their vows to each other and Amber grabbed his hands and pulled forward to hug and kiss him…then realized she was still in the middle of her ceremony and couldn’t do that quite yet! It was so cute!

The night was spent eating delicious food, cutting a cake with machete (!!!), sweet toasts, and the BEST cake ever!!!

Congratulations again Amber and Nick!!! I wish you so much love and joy in the future as you continue your journey together!!!
