The Casey family is in the running for the most exciting two years, between Landon and Megan’s wedding last September, to them announcing the arrival of another addition this September, to Morgan and Jonas’ engagement and now their wedding!!
When Morgan and her mom first called me I was very excited about this wedding day. Morgan was very adamant about wanting a wedding day that reflected how she and Jonas wanted to spend their time. What we came up with was an intimate ceremony with just family and close friends with a formal meal, followed by a more relaxed after-party with their community…and a food truck!!!
I am a huge proponent of really thinking about your priorities for your wedding day and then working in advance with your vendors to make your vision happen with the logistics.
Their morning was spent with Morgan and her girlfriends – one of the only bridal parties that was almost fully ready and relaxed by the time I arrived!! After Morgan put her dress on, she had a tear-filled first look with her dad, brother, and grandparents.
Their ceremony was sweet and sentimental, with Morgan and Jonas’ high school principal praying over them and their families. We enjoyed our meal together over toasts and special family dances before sending off the newly-weds on a boat!
The after-party kicked off with an entrance by classic car, tacos and apple pies, signature cocktails, and the bridal party showing off all of their personalities with introductions to the dance floor. The night was spent partying away with their friends and family!
Morgan, thank you for choosing me to photograph so many of your milestones – from senior photos to bridals to wedding! I love seeing you and Jonas together and know you will build the most beautiful life together. Congratulations!!!!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made this day beautiful!!!
