I haven’t done one of these posts in a few years because they’re a little overwhelming. Going through full galleries from 20+ weddings and narrowing them down to a few favorites is a major challenge…but also what a joy!!!

Sometimes when you get to experience beautiful things so often they can start to lose their shine. It’s hard to see the excitement and glow of things when you’re in the thick of it. Taking the time to go through all of the weddings I was entrusted to capture this year reminded me of all of the moments that make me love this job.

If I included all of the images I love you would be scrolling for days (this is also why each wedding gets its own blog post!), but all of the images here are incredibly special to me.

Some are a compilation of skills I’ve grown over the years with truly understanding light, color, and composition. Some are where I really pushed myself to create something that felt natural and cinematic. Some are when I coached couples outside of the practiced poses and trusted my direction to keep them looking natural.

Some are rainy days that I made appear bright and sunny. Some are hidden moments where I took in all that was happening around us and dialed in on one interaction or detail. Some are when I was challenged to make miracles happen in small spaces

Some simply just take me back to the moment, where I can feel that emotion, and it confirms I did my job as the documentarian of my couples’ days – to capture the moments they want to remember with the people they love, where everyone feels like their best selves and present in the moment.

I can’t wait for another year of beautiful memories!!!
