When you think about getting married in September…this is what you dream of. Cool temps, gorgeous florals, transitional colors, and if you’re Rebecca…LOTS of SPARKLE!
I was looking forward to seeing her vision come to life ever since her bridal portraits, where her dress was sparkles from veil to her bedazzled boots (seen later during her performance of Copperhead Road!). I knew she was planning on adding some glitz to every part of her day and she did not disappoint. I was obsessed with the bridesmaids’ dresses, the matching groomsmen bowties, and even the linens on the tables.
While the decor was glitz and glam, the theme of their day was definitely heartfelt and full of family (real family and friends that felt like family). I loved how they incorporated the special kids in their lives throughout every part of the day. They did SO well, and made sure everyone stayed on the dance floor all night long. My favorite moments was listening to Rebecca’s sisters toast the new Whitmires and gush over their baby sister.
Rebecca and Bradley have such a deep love for each other. It’s impossible not to feel. Their day was filled with emotion as soon as things started getting real with their first touch. They held hands, still hidden from each other, sharing a prayer over their relationship before becoming one. Every part of their day was curated to be sentimental – Bradley even had to listen to the songs a few days before the wedding to “desensitize” himself so he could make it through, ha!
They chose to end their night of dancing and celebrating in a super unique way…S’MORES! The camp at The Cornealius Properties started as a place where the family would hang out around a fire, and s’mores are Rebecca’s favorite desserts. Wrapping up the night in a chill hangout by the fire, roasting marshmellows was perfect!
