WOW. This past weekend was an absolute DREAM. I’m not even sure where to start! The River Room, a gorgeous venue on the river in downtown Wilmington, NC, hosted an open house to allow couples to come in, check out the space, and meet a ton of Wilmington’s top wedding vendors.

Prior to the open house event, Brittanie Raquel Events crafted a beautiful vision for a styled shoot and invited so many vendors to come showcase their talents…and not a single person disappointed!!! I love that we had a chance to put together a way for couples to feel what working with each of us actually looked like rather than just having a traditional “open house.” It really helps to visualize and let your imagination run wild!

My favorite part of these types of events is getting the chance to work alongside other vendors without the pressure of a wedding day. We did have somewhat of a tight timeline to capture A LOT of content for everyone who participated, but relationships are made in the in-between moments of complimenting them on their work, making sure I capture images they love, helping with cleanup, and celebrating a successful event with a dance party. Now I can confidently recommend these vendors to my couples not only because I love their creations but also because I know their hearts and how they work!

I am so excited to share these photos and be a part of the wedding community in Wilmington. I can’t say enough about all of the vendors who poured out their time, dedication, and talents to make this vision come to life!
