I have a lot to say about Anna and Brandon’s wedding day, and yet no words at all LOL. It was so beautifully perfect for them. Wrightsville Manor is easily one of the most photographic venues in our area and paired with a gorgeous couple and a detailed design, it becomes unmatched.
Anna’s morning started with her best friends getting ready, drinking mimosas and listening to a playlist that kept their energy high. She slipped into her dress with the help of her mom and sister, followed by a tearful first look with her dad, and then with her bridesmaids.
Anna made her way outside to see Brandon for the first time and they read beautiful vows to each other as a way to “officially” start their day. We do our best during private vows to allow the moment to be as private possible so their words can be just for each other, but it is always special to catch a glimpse of the love they have for each other stated so intentionally and beautifully.
One of my favorite parts of their day was them bringing out their german shepherd Hera! Brandon has worked so much with her and while you can tell she has so much energy and power, she’s totally locked in with him. Our mission was to get a few photos of them as a family but I suggested that we try to include her in the bridal party since she was doing so well. She fit right in with the blacks and champagnes and looks so regal with the black tuxes!!!
Sarah and the Gather Events team did such a beautiful job of putting together timeless decor that felt classic and sophisticated. I have become quite the fan of the champagne dresses, neutrals and greenery, especially if there are black tuxes involved!!
Their night was spent tearing up the dance floor with their friends and family, where everyone was either dancing or supporting right there on the edge of the crowd. We pulled the groomsmen outside for the classic cigar photos, which is always a fun addition for the guys (even if we burn through the cigars way faster than expected lol).
Anna and Brandon exited in the baby blue Azalea Limo convertible, which may be my favorite option from them! It’s hard to narrow down my favorite photos from their day so enjoy this *very* long blog post recap and save to your Pinterest board for inspiration!!!
Anna and Brandon – congratulations!!!! I am so thankful that you asked me to capture your day. You are a dream couple surrounded by the best people. I can’t wait to see all that your love story brings. Love you!!!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made this day beautiful!!!
